ABOUT WENDY CONWAY, LMFT:
CLINICAL EXPERIENCE:
Wendy's specialty is depression and anxiety. She has enjoyed designing and leading therapy groups for social phobia, anxiety, depression, OCD and panic disorders in several settings including Behavioral Health of Nevada County and The Phobic Trust in New Zealand where she was employed as a registered psychologist. In 2001 she presented a paper on social anxiety at The Pacific Rim International Conference on Anxiety. She also provided individual and family therapy at Higher Ground; a drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility.
Wendy's experience is not limited to the anxiety spectrum. Her experience includes working with: The Wellness Community providing therapy for people and their families dealing with cancer; Family Services of Santa Monica where she provided therapy for family and relationship issues; The Help Group working with Severely Emotionally Disturbed (SED) children; and Little Citizens Westside Academy in South Central Los Angeles working with SED children and teenagers. She was also in private practice in West Los Angeles.
